you may feel weak.

Promoting a Culture of Caring and Safety |

- Take a bath or shower
|
Using Safe Strong Equipment.
Lateral Transfer Lifts: Help move from a bed to a stretcher to an x-ray table. This equipment may look like a large sheet with handles on it. We will slide it under you and it will make the surface friction free so we can easily slide you across a flat surface.
Mechanical Lifts: Are very, very strong. They help us to move, hold, and lift you safely. These lifts use a vest or a sling that connects to the lift to safely and comfortably support your body weight. These slings may lift you while you are walking. Some lifts are portable floor units and can go from room to room. Some lifts are attached to the ceiling and remain in the room but slide on tracks to areas within the room.
To help protect you and provide safe, comfortable care, our staff will be using lift and transfer devices with you if you need assistance moving. Our staff will evaluate your mobility level and choose the most appropriate device for your needs. We will explain the device to you and remain with you as we work together to safely transfer or reposition you.

We are here to help you safely move or reposition you.
