 VA Announces Outpatient Clinic for Cheboygan County


The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) selected a site for a new VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic at 14540 Mackinaw Highway in Mackinaw City. 


The clinic, as part of the Saginaw VA Medical Center, will offer primary medical care service, screening and treatment for mental health disorders, laboratory blood draws, and telemedicine capabilities closer to the homes of Veterans in Cheboygan County and surrounding areas. VA looks forward to a longstanding partnership with the Veterans of Northern Michigan to enhance their health care outcomes.

Veterans who would like to receive health care at the new clinic may call 1-800-406-5143, extension 11230 for help with registration.  A VA clerk will assist callers with documenting all necessary information to be considered for care once the new facility opens in the fall 2011.
