June’s Floral Company out of Mt. Morris, Michigan, chose Veterans in Saginaw to receive hundreds of smiley face mugs with fresh flowers.

“It is our goal to strongly show our support to our Veterans, whom have sacrificed so much for our country. This is just a small token of our appreciation and we wish to make them smile,” said June’s Floral Company owner Waneita Bovan.

Volunteers from Michigan Patriot Riders, businesses, and civic organizations helped to put the flower arrangements together, load the vehicles, and deliver the mugs throughout the VA Medical Center, VA Healthcare Annex, and VET Center in Saginaw the morning of July 18, 2011.

The Veterans that received this beautiful mug of flowers were surprised and humbled by the generosity of those that wanted to put a smile on their faces for serving our country.  It was truly a fun and memorable event for all involved.
