VA Rural Transportation

The Aleda E. Lutz manages a program to assist Veterans in our northern communities with their transportation needs.  The Rural Transportation Route begins at the Gaylord Community Based Outpatient Clinic, with additional pick-up points in Grayling, West Branch, and Standish, Michigan.  This route brings Veterans to the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw.  We have additional routes from Saginaw to VA Medical Centers in Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, and Detroit.

You may contact 1-800-406-5143, extension 13125, between the hours of 8:00 a.m.—4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, if you would like to schedule a ride.

We ask that passengers call at least 48 hours in advance so travel can be confirmed.
